I have lots of German friends — generally they would go to San Francisco, rent a car, do highway 1 along the coast, visit LA, go to Las Vegas, see Death Valley or Grand Canyon, maybe visit Baghdad Cafe, maybe go to Tijuana, then through San Diego on the way to fly out.

Going with Silver on Golden Hill

I admit I messed up. If I had planned farther ahead about this walk/watch-wearing business, I would have taken a Silver watch on the Silver Strand, and a Gold watch to Golden Hill. Sorry. Today started wet, gray and cold. We thought "No rush, why hurry?" ...

Either mine or my wife’s. iPhone is better for close-ups and in some lighting conditions. Not good on wide shots or long-range zooms.

Ahh, yes, lots of traffic in my neighborhood. All my neighbors are walking their dogs quite often.

Before the pandemic, when I washed the car on my driveway, I'd see maybe a half dozen neighbors walking around over the two hour period. Now it feels like it's well over a full dozen!
