The yellow dialed version is an early one from July 1969 and the silver dial, made I believe for the Australian market only, is from April 1973. ...

Thanks, Emmanuel. The reference does have a great deal of history behind it. It's still in question whether Seiko beat the Swiss/Zenith to introduce the first automatic chronograph movement in 1969!

Both of those are nice and look great on the wrist. I’m drawn to the silver dial.

That’s Colorado for you! Not much snow November through April and then we get dumped on in May, and sometimes even June. Crazy. But no, there’s no such thing as global warming, right? 🤪
