Seiko "1964 Olympics" World Time pair
Jan 13, 2019,03:34 AM
Finally completed a pair of World Times, one in silver, one in grey, with the grey arriving this week on bracelet.
The grey is quite a different animal on the wrist, being more subdued compared to the exuberance of the silver. It does have a lovely anthracite-grey sunburst dial, which contrasts with the slightly dressier linen dial finish of the silver version.
Both wear very nicely on the wrist at 37.5mm, and I couldn't be more pleased.

It's in synch with the hour hand, so it's a helpful AM PM indicator. It can also be used to tell time in other cities, with a pretty good explanation here: www.thewatchsite.com

Very nice looking watch and bracelet. Could you post one on your wrist (the one with the bracelet)?
Yikes!

A bit too late, I swapped it onto a strap, and stashed the precious bracelet in the safe. The bracelet wears very comfortably, I must say.
Cool!

And definitely somewhere on the horizon for me 😊 With more travel across time zones that horizon may be soon...
