The first with green Mt Iwate dial. Introduced five years before the famous SBGJ005. Also, this model was regulated to daily rate of -1 / +5 sec. This is within "Special" range, but no Special text on the dial.

Re you "Special" comment, I understood the original "Special" to be +/-3 seconds a day.

You can see these at least on FB's GSOC (Grand Seiko Owners Club). There are few of these. In terms of the Specials, the new ones are +4/-2 per day (vs.+5/-3 for standard Hi-Beat), but I think being within 6 seconds is what counts. Special or not, 9S85 is...

Excellent match for color and texture. Have you a few wardrobe items (shoes & belt) to match? I'd love to try a combination like this but I might be afraid to wear it. Cheers, Cazalea

My selection really comes down to two colours - tan and red (black is not colour after all πŸ˜€) Patinated light brown works almost with everything, and post box red is just different. A racing green would be fantastic addition, and would work perfectly with...
