Your photo shows much better than any I'd seen before the mottled nature of the blue on the rotor. That "softens" the color, at least for me, so… much easier to take. However you slice it, the watch is a collection of very beautiful choices. For awhile the red was my "grail." But the more I looked at it, the more I felt the color would be too limiting. When your watch came out I thought, "Now… There's a "blue" that would go with everything." Ultimately, though, I think my eye still considers the SBGA111 King of the heap. Of course, it's a spring drive watch, and yours a high beat. In a perfect world I guess I'd have both. But then… Perhaps it's more perfect to live with one at a time, eh?
