about the SHAC cases, it looks like new after 50 years, wonderful! Wonder why they are not making more of these⦠beautiful watch by the way.

Could be the cost π€·π»ββοΈ Several manufacturers went down similar routes, Rado being perhaps best known. Many ended up with ceramicsβ¦

Iβd like to own a SHAC cased watch. Though given how well it preserves itself regular people might stop buying watches thinking their watch is as new and shiny as its first day, so why bother buying a new one.
