Decided to get a gold star yesterday
Wasn’t really planning on getting another watch, more so a quartz one. However, for some reason, a lot of the forums and online magazines I’ve been reading the last two weeks had articles on Grand Seiko’s 60th anniversary models featured quite frequently.
Strolling by an AD after a coffee date with my wife, I saw two of these sitting there in the window. Cutting short the story, had to do some justice and take one home. 5 seconds deviation per year is pretty astounding if you ask me.
The blue is also beautiful. There’s a pattern on the dial which showed up in many reviews but I can tell yuh that unless you look at it with a loupe that’s more than 3x, it is not really visible. Testament to the work on details by Grand Seiko.
