Both are very nice designs, but the FIRST ss GS is amazing! I really love that domed crystal shape on top of the very simple sunburst dial.
I like that too, but the tonneau shape is more appealing to me

Grand Seiko Tonneau TV case watch
Grand Seiko Ref: 5645-5010 is simple gorgeous and rare. The dial is unique, as is the case shape and superb timekeeping. How many did they make of this model? Of course, I may have to commission you to look for weird Grand Seiko like this for me in Japan....
I really don't see this in the market, perhaps one per few year....

.. I think all the modern Swiss or Japanese watch of certain level CAN be adjusted to this high level. But it takes time and skill. Commercially, it may not make sense to do that on each one. But I agree, if the watch (a simple three hands watch) cost 10s...
