Another one of those large Seiko’s of mine - the SBDB015 Landmaster 🗻
While in principle an alpinist’s watch (the 007 black DLC version was used to equip a Mt. Everest expedition), the shot is on a boat - a historical one at that. At least the navy toad strap makes it look more maritime. Another case where 47mm get masked by making it in titanium with a curved case back 😊👍🏻

The only small pet peeve being the lack of a classical quick set date (explaining why I didn’t bother today). It’s fast enough with the jumping hour hand but on holidays I don’t always have the patience 😊 And you of course also have the superb 007 🦾🗻👌🏻 ...

It's not so bad for a single dateline jump during travel, but, if the date display is days or weeks off from the present date, setting can be quite tedious, with a LOT of revolutions of the jumping hour hand required! Same with the GS Spring Drive GMTs......

Makes it easier to wear the 47mm 😁 Exactly - it would have been 28 or so days so I couldn’t be bothered 😉🤷🏻♂️
Another consideration for me is that on both my Aqua Terra and my De Ville parts related to that mechanism eventually failed forcing an otherwise not needed full service.
In both watches this happened well past the expected service interval so it's not something that should be a deal breaker for purchasing but put an end to me setting the date if the correct date is well into the future.
