all Seiko fans will probably guess that the watch i have just purchased is a 1964 calibre 430 handwind Grand Seiko, the ultimate Seiko for my 1964 collection. i have seen several over the years either for stupid prices, tatty or with missing gold medallio...

thanks Respo, i think the Seiko from 64 theme is finished now. the GS, a KS, the olympic 1 button chrono, olympic worldtimer and a dirt cheap 66 calibre handwind. best G

the Grail of all Seiko's arrived this morning and despite its international travel i managed to avoid any customs taxes. i like EMS coming from the far east :) the watch is absolutely minty and looks like a new watch not one that's 50 years old. its obvio...  

after over a week on the wrist i can only agree with you Jed. fantastic timing, looks, feel, condition, quality. you name it, its fantastic. best G

they are fabulous watches and i used to own a new gmt, the hi beat vintage and one other, but i let them all go. story of my life, but one i will try not to repeat. Best G
