After an unsuccessful trip to the Seiko Boutique… had to peruse own collection again, the SPB069 today 🇯🇵
Wanting to take a look at the new Bamford fettled Time Sonar re-edition by Seiko (as posted by India Whisky Charlie the other day) and having found myself close to a Seiko Boutique, the course of action was predictable. The result was sadly unsatisfactory - the few they had were all gone, so no luck.
While the new hand wound Spring Drive GS model appealed quite a bit I was not in the market for it just now and the Nausicaa Presage looked much duller in real life than I hoped for 🤷🏻♂️ The Tentagraph was too thick for my wrist, sadly…
So back to wearing own, already long loved Seikos instead - in this case the Seiko Presage SPB069 with its wonderful blue grand fry enamel dial.

I was simply too late to get the watch I was curious about 🤷🏻♂️ Otherwise they were friendly and nice - loved the strap on my White Birch 😉
