Yes, I agree with you. I still much prefer a pure mechanical watch. The Spring Drive is my leap of faith into this technological feat purely because I want to try new things. Mechanical watch is always my favorite.

Grand Seiko is my favorite brand and the Spring Drives never cease to amaze. I once wore one of mine for 90 days. At the end it was still exactly on time compared to an atomic clock.
