Andrew,
Thanks for the review for a rare-outside-Japan Seiko dive watch.
I use a less illustrious Seiko Dive watch than yours as my holiday timepiece as it is light and cheap and...er....water-resistant.
Only to 200m rating but I'm only paddling in the kiddies' pool in between Thai or Balinese massages.....
The standard 'squiggly' Seiko rubber strap hurts and marks bare skin (especially when wet or after the massage oils
) So, I changed to a titanium bracelet.
Before the Piaget Upstream and Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, the Seiko was my only bracelet watch; strange for a wearer in tropical climes.

PuristS' Compadre watch -- Seiko Scuba Diver's Titanium 200m Automatic with 7S26 movement.
Regards,
MTF
