A Grand Seiko literally saved me from having a broken wrist and wearing this baby again today after a few months.
I had a fall this April because of icy condition and landed on the pavement. I only had some small scrape on my left wrist so I cleaned it up. Later I found out my GS bezel was scratched but luckily did not crack the sapphire glass. This watch literally cushioned me from the fall so I did not have a broken wrist. Felt so lucky!
One can notice the damage of the bezel at the 12, 1 and 2 O'clock positions, but merely cosmetic, when is time for full-service, I just send it in and it will be new again.
