It’s interesting to see lugs on a vintage GS that are similar to those on modern models like the one I have. While I have mixed feelings about the lugs’ prominence Seiko’s design consistency over so many years is admirable.

I agree, I think that a lot of their modern re-issue interpretations are similar but not spot on to their original models. A lot long time collectors or Seiko and GS are not too impressed but the new collectors of the brands are happy with what they're pu...

A simple Seiko, with similar lines to the GS. ref. 3823-7040 Made in the early 70's by SUWA factory of Seiko Japan. 38mm and a snowflake dial, You can feel the quality and attention to details, I use it to time my mechanical watches ...
