The North American seiko service center is in Mahwah, NJ. Had an orange monster with 7S26 that I brought there to have serviced. Only took a week or two and was very inexpensive. I think they just swap the movement though.

You can’t wind a 7S26 movement directly using the crown.

You have to move the watch to jumpstart the winding motion. Whereas, the NH36 can be directly wound using the crown. ...
