The case design is my least favorite from among GS' current lineup, but I do find the dial quite beautiful.
The SD movement appears to be the essentially the same as the one in my Credor Kuon (sans the ripples), so I can vouch for its fine, trouble-free performance and mesmerizing smoothness,
And again if the Kuon is any indication, the bracelet on the SBGY043 will likely be supremely comfortable and silky on the wrist as well.
Too bad it doesn't offer a micro-adjust feature, though.

Especially since somewhat older GSs managed an easy 100m rating without even screwing down crowns 🤷🏻♂️ Otherwise a truly beautiful piece, even if on mine the bracelet would be off in nanoseconds 😉

My initial reaction was this looks like one of the Biver stone dial releases.
Beautiful package and nice manual movement side with PR indicator. Just being splash proof is actually a point of concern since I’ll be stressed every time I wash my hands.😔

Regarding the water-resistance, I just wonder (i) if "splash resistant" is GS's way of saying 30 m and (ii) why they didn't achieve 50 m, like, for example any Royal Oak... Best, Emmanuel

I'm not completely sure about the lack of micro-ajustement, but it seems to be missing.
Thank you for sharing your experience with the Credor Kuon: a good movement and a comfortable bracelet are a good basis for an everyday watch. Best, Emmanuel
