Nah I will leave it as it is, although I do wonder what happens when the dandruff hits the movement. But it's probably too small and weak to cause any problems.

I sometimes see this on watches (even brand new ones) when using a loupe .... That\'s why I am so crazy when buying new watches - always equipped with a loupe
I bought this NOS watch (from 2003) over the internet so I couldn't go back for a new dial anyway....
But you are perfectly right taking a loupe with you. Come to think of it. I will do exactly the same next (new) purchase.
It's a good practice and good to see defects for new purchases

I believe dial, but can't see it properly with the naked eye.
