Funny I went through the same path as you very recently, I was never a big Rolex fan, and I'm not a diver, but liked the look and history of the Submariner. I considered the plain no date one (see a previous post a little while ago), which I didn't like w... 

i won't ever wear a rolex in the other range, like the GMT or Explorers or Datejusts. Really enjoying my kermit now. Nice solid bracelet and very comfortable.

...and excellent taste in masks, too. (That is an Atomics Frameless? Best mask ever. I have a clear and a black version, just got an OMS black skirt with separate lenses for night dives..not sure it'll measure up) This message has been edited by BDLJ on 2... 

Thanks for recognising the mask. I left it there on purpose. This mask is excellent for mask clearing and very peripheral in vision. Light and easy to store as well. I can't wait to use it soon! I'm glad you share the same passion and taste. Night dives a... 

...for a nightdive off Mornington this Saturday. Just got a DiveRite700 torch and want to try out the umbilical with my gear (also changed from an Aluminium to a SS backplate, so trying out some weighting options...no more weightbelt) as well as the less-... 

I gotta find a shark next time i go. I do diving around Singapore, and SE asia is a heaven for diving, with Tioman Island and Perhantian Island. Funny thing is I never saw a shark when diving, only 1 white tip juvenile while snorkeling. I look forward to ...
