I recently acquired a white gold Rolex Day-Date, reference 1803. What's particularly interesting about this watch is the unique 'ghost' dial, where the printing seems to disappear at certain angles. I had been searching quite extensively for one of these....  

As with all vintage pieces they have their flaws but you have to look past that and remember they have lived a life before they came into your life.

It's really a great piece in a variety of lighting conditions
