Like you, I also have a similar memory, when I was a child I was sitting with my father in his office and when he was reading a book, I tried to remove with my nails that rare magnifying glass that seemed very beautiful typical of Rolex, I could never detach it and my father just laughed at my unsuccessfuld attempt, I remember he was a president with a white dial.
Over time my father died and his watches were lost, but as a curious thing since I was a child I went and I am a lover of watches, my passion for them began at the age of 8 and I remember all the watches I have had ,but within all the watches that I have one in particular, a Rolex President rose gold white dial, new with tags and in a high vacuum box, I keep it for that memory of my father.
