Rolex

very good post...

...I have not had the pleasure of trying the new color scheme, I wore a friend's black bezel some weeks ago...

I want to be progressive, I will not speak of the polished bracelet, or about the fat lugs.

i'm a sub/sd guy and that's not a secret, but i really much prefer a modern GMT than a Sub.

in first instance, talking about a ceramic Sub, because i don't like how the new clasp fits of my wrist, too long, although I admire the functionality.

The GMT closing system is less invasive.

second: for me, the cal. 3185/86 is one of the best Rolex movement ever manufactured. I love to play with the bezel on my 1675 to find the local time etc...

but, of course, the hour hand fast jump forward is a great, great innovation (i enjoyed of this feature some years ago on one of my ex 16710)...

you can set 3 timezone with a couple of seconds, just amazing.

a sore point: the rehaut.

what makes me love the old 6542, 1675 / 750 (besides the patina and the bracelets and the DIALS!) is definitely the height of rehaut: it's very low!!!!! i love this feature!

in all the modern production we have to deal with the damned (or maybe you like) RRR and the result is a too huge rehaut for a GMT.

I understand marketing, we don't need to dwell on it

They have both a triplock crown system, pretty much the same case, but the water resistance is 100 Vs 300.

I would have liked to see a different case for a GMT, while it is practically the same of the 11661x.

we'll see if Basel 14 presents something.......... old smile)))
