took me a few minutes to see it ;-) All three are lovely. I know the big crown is usually the most desirable, but I think I'm about to start a search myself in anger for a nice 5508. Cheers Tony

than one 5508 on each wrist. Yes, the Big Crowns have the popular appeal, but actually I think these 5508/6536 have immense character and charm. Beautiful.

The small crown plays the card of elegance and discrete charm, while the BCs play on the register of strenght, power, machism... Well, I think we need both of them. Best, Nicolas

No, the 2d small crown is not mine, but I am taking care ( and pics ) of it for a good friend. I wouldn't play with the 6542, it is not a Submariner. Or, if I had to play waith, I would also have to use the 6610... And the 1016. Best, Nicolas

... you know, the three have the unique charme of no guards cases, and in chess... you know... it all depends in the next movement of your adversary! Wouldn´t bet my money in a winner here! And regarding the 6542, surely it is not a Sub... but for sure is...

Is just an utopy... First, there are some holy monsters, such as the Big Crowns 6538 / 6200 / 5510, or Tudors 7922 / 24. Then, if you're not dead, not yet, you will have to fight with the no ( small ) crownguards, and there, you have some pure beasts, too... 

You just wrote the whole Rolex Sub biodiversity perfectly! (I think there's some ressemblance with endangered species) So you have to be very careful when diving into those sub waters! Me? First save some funds, then try to learn more and make up my mind ...

A nice, simple and "honest" 1680 white, or, with a "little" more $$$, a gorgeous 5513 or 5512 PCG, chapter ring, gilted. Of the holly monsters, BC, NCG, SC, etc etc... not even think about it! I'll keep enjoying yours in your beautiful pictures, as well a...

To sum a Rolex Collectionin 3 watches only is not an easy thing, as we have to make some compromises which will be the reflect of our own journey, taste and education. 2, that is easy: Tudlor 7924, and Rolex 6542. As they are way above all the others I ow... 

1) 1665 2) PN 3) 6610 Small gap between 1 and 2. Big gap between 2 and 3. I think if i owned a 6538 perfect gilt, that would be a big challenge for a medal.

Let's face it, there are way more " hot references " in the Submariner than on the GMT family. One illustration: With the price of a 6200, you can almost get all the GMTs you want: One 6542, a 1675 PCG CR, one Underline, one Exclamation Dot, one Military ...
