Watch purchases should be made with the heart for sure. Bias is always a great sign of actions from the heart. It's like the girl you have a crush on, may not be the hottest babe around but they just attract you to no end.
I also liked that you did the comparison after a somewhat stint with the explorer. Sometimes people tend to dislike some pieces but never even tried to give a try.
That said, it's fantastic that you like the pam despite the lost of appeal. It was not hard to find a fan when it was the hot brand to collect, but now with the change of tide, those who remains could really be the true fans. Anyway, despite everything, I think the base PAMs of old with unitas are still absolutely fantastic pieces. They don't pretend to be more than what they are, and that's great, and that's what I love about PAMs too.

Not a fan of NATOs, but the orange NATO looks like a natural choice. Also, I'm in the school of the 40mm Exp II. I like bigger watches, but I prefer the more condensed details of the 40mm. Great looking watch, regardless!

In fact I think only the Jubilee bracelet (Super) and the President bracelet do not comes with the “easy link”

I don’t know why I didn’t realize it was there. I didn’t have it on the bracelet for long, so it didn’t impact my view of the watch. But of course it’s fair to point out all the correct facts.
