To be frank
I do not think about efficiency. It is very easy to read the watch, and easier for sure compared to the perpetual calendars which I have (which are also smaller, and less legible). I like that the Sky-Dweller is easy to set too, so after some days or weeks or months of no use, it takes just a little bit of time to set the time and dates and go. Very different from my pc where I will need to clear space on my desk and find a zen time to get it done right.

The watch is almost too big?
There's only one solution! Start doing arm wrestling workouts to get thicker forearms! It does (veerrry slightly) thicken the wrist. Anything for watches 😉
Can hardly believe...
...that the Land Dweller has taken the crown for being more complex(?!).
I think this only applies to the escapement,
not to the complication, as the LD has only a date complication.
This SD is the one that caught my attention too.
And once you see it, you can't "un-see" it. I saw one in the wild once, and I noticed how fantastic it looked from a distance. I couldn't keep my eyes off of it, so I had to get one of my own. Ha! Nice pics too. Thanks for sharing.

Better yet, let your dad pick a colour. They are all good; I've had it in white, and now I have it in blue.
