nice on your wrist and it is good that
you were able to size it sitting perfectly on your wrist
with the leather strap. Over the years I have
also had that same problem every now and then because
there have not been enough movable links on the six o'clock's side
to get the clasp center on wrist that would have avoided the watchcase
sliding uncomfortably on the wristbone.

You should be able to fix your bracelet issue
with a friendly watchmaker - he can adjust the link count left or right to make it fit perfectly. It is worth it
I've tried every combination to make it fit correctly.

I inherited a 1978 Rolex OP Date 1500 several years ago. Had it fully serviced early last year and was going to put it away since i had very little interest in watches. But the wife encouraged me to wear it on Independence Day 2020....our engagement date....
