Rolex

Hi, I bought this watch a few years ago and don't get much wear out of it due to its size, which is a tad small for me. I was told it is a DJ from 1959. The dial appears to be charcoal or a very dark brown. The dial is somewhat pie-pan shaped, which someo...  

The dial has been painted black and the hands have been retouched. If it was mine I would sell it and buy another Rolex or Tudor.

Racklever, Please educate me for the future. Please point out how you know it is repainted and the hands touched up. This could very well be but I would like to know what to look out for in the future.

And the hands on a vintage Rolex, of this date. have Tritium inserts which go brown.
