I couldn't say which one is my favourite, among these 3...
They all have their own personality, and charm...

These Vintage will kill me
By: amanico : August 3rd, 2009-07:57
On a sad cloudy day, between 2 things to do, I had fun trying to take decent pics of these beauties... 2 GMTs side by side...A 16750 ( blue and red bezel ) and a 1675 ( Faded Grey Bezel ). 2 different patinas, 2 different personalities... But 2 Beauties.....
Great picture !!!

Lovely trio! Your 1675 is in a class of its own! The faded bezel and patina just place it in another planet! And, about your Freccione, well, having been lucky enough to see it in person, it was a watch with which I fell in love instantly. As for the 1675...
You need to find a sister to your 5513, Alex
By: amanico : August 4th, 2009-02:53
And what better choice than a 1675??? Another Myth from Rolex, at an affordable price, but which will give you a lot of pleasure. Life is wonderful! Best, Nicolas
Growing appreciation …

While not previously a huge Rolex fan, I am really enjoying these vintage pieces. Photos like yours certainly enhance that enjoyment. If I had to nominate a favourite it would be the 1675 as I love the eggshell patina that Rolex’s of this era seem to deve...
Thanks to you, Andrew!

For your nice words. There are so many treasures to rediscover among the Vintage Rolex than they are difficult to perpetually avoid.... As everything, it may take time, indeed, to fully appreciate them. Is this the beginning of a new love story, Andrew? B...
The short answer is “yes” …

Just dipping my toe in with a simple Rolex I think you will approve of for several reasons. Graham has cornered the market with the 1964’s, so I have got one coming from my wife’s birth year of 1966. She couldn’t really protest about ...
U 1675 will kill me...

Now, I'm thinking about a 5508 / 6538 and 6542... A nice 1665 would please me, too... Story without end? Best, Nicolas
Thanks, Bernhard.

Will try to take some other pics of these Beauties, and to include a few other Vintage Rolex during my holidays... If the outcome is concluant, I will post them when I come back home... To be followed. Best, my friend. Nicolas
A different combo for this 1675
By: amanico : August 5th, 2009-03:50
Here the GMT Duo, one ( the 16 750 ) with its original SS Bracelet, and the other one, the 1675 with a Nato which matches the patined indexes... Best, Nicolas...
Truly match...
By: kbc.2222 : August 5th, 2009-06:23
Wow...the nato match the patina perfectly...GREAT! Best Chung
I don't remember who to thank
By: amanico : August 5th, 2009-15:32
For this brilliant idea, but thanks a lot... This is the Nato I use on my FF Blancpain, and it was quite lie an evidence that it would greatly work on this 1675. Best, my friend. Nicolas
