My Day-Date 40mm, 228239 with a Silver Stripe dial arrived yesterday. I will follow up with some impressions this weekend....  

I also prefer the bezel/case proportion on this 40mm model to the 41mm ones.

I also think that this version of the Day-Date 40mm goes well with the other three watches in my collection of four watches... ...  

White gold is a great choice ... Tried it at the boutique the other day! Best, ...

I'm sure you will enjoy it very much! I wanted a Day-Date for a longer period of time, but 36 mm is way too small for me (looks girlish) and the 41 mm just looks wrong to me in some weird way. When they introduced the Day-Date 40 last year I really had no...
