I've not done too much of a deep dive on P01's origins, but I understand that it is based on a prototype divers' watch that Tudor created for the US Navy's consideration decades ago, but that went unselected.

I loved the weird tool vibe from this immediately when it came out, but I didn't think I had the wrist for it. How are you finding it sizewise, in length-across-the-wrist terms?

I definitely don't have the wrist for it, either, but I've developed a high tolerance (out of necessity) for the huge watch on a small wrist look, a.k.a. the Clown Watch look π

If I'm not mistaken iy disappeared from the catalog in 2024. And introduced in 2019 Never was a good seller so probably not that many were made ... Well not that many for being a Tudor but thats probably still thousands
The AD did inform me about the P01's culling from the Tudor catalog in 2024 and it seems to be largely unavailable at ADs now, at least in Japan.
So I was glad to snare one while I could.
I remember this unusual release very well
but didnβt recall it even had lug holes. You certainly have the wrist for this machine and wear it very well! Cheers Marc
Much appreciated, Gwai ! π I was snooping around as usual for the Monarch, when this unusual P01 caught my eye.
The Black Bay Pro GMT with Opaline dial was also on my list, but I assumed that I'd have another chance at that one, as it's a relatively new release. The hunt for the Monarch continues, meanwhile.

The AD didn't mention production figures to date, but observed that it was probably much fewer than other Tudor models that are less polarizing and likely have wider appeal.
The P01 is a fantastic underrated watchβ¦
