I do need to read up on photography basics/rules/techniques etc. More often than not I tend to have an idea of what could look good and then try to capture it. Just felt the picture would look better without the green dot.l

I've been thinking about my comment. A lot of things that can be done in "digital darkrooms" can also done in a film darkroom but digital can do way more. It can be it's own
art form but a good understanding of the basic principles is the best place to start and can definitely reduce how much time you spend staring at a computer.
