Yes, understated for sure. And more so at 36mm.
Yours and mine are the same age, and they both look pretty good for watches almost a half a century old. Yours is another that would appeal to me, that dial is not one you see a lot either. And it adds to that understated elegance.

As I get older I feel more drawn to the DD.
And WG, or PT. The difficulty is finding one with a less common or more interesting dial. I find myself looking and looking at more recent models too for something with the right dial. No found much yet.
Yes, blue dial.
It can look a bit different in some pictures. I believe the same blue was used on the DateJust and I’ve also seen YG Presidents with this same dial. Although the colour looks a bit different against the yellow gold case.
