Sea Dweller
For the last 18 months I knew I wanted a sea dweller. In what inclanation, I was unsure and as you are about to do, I did quite a bit of research. The long and the short of it is I actually took the plunge (no diving pun intended) with a matte dial 666 from my birth year (it seemed like fate so couldnt resist). I dont have the watch yet but I will do in a couple of weeks and I hope to post up some pictures and share some thoughts.
This is my first Rolex and I am getting quite excited about it! The ultimate clincher for me was the matte dial colouring. I am more about aesthetics than functionality and quite frankly fell in love with any example with a dark patina - feelings that I just dont feel with more current Rolex models. I am a relative newbie and my best advice is search watchprosite! Some serious knowledge on the forum, reading here definitely helped shape my recent decision.
