This pushers so called proto,or MK0, or by italian collectors "millerighe" (sort of thousandlines) were fitted on the first Oyster Daytona ref. 6240, considered a sort of prototype for the next generation 6263/6265, in fact the vast majority of the dials are not Oyster on this 6240 ref. with small or big Daytona on the upper part of the dial.
We can find the writing only at the same time the 6263/65 come out in the market.
So, for the usual speech of Rolex overlapping, the new Oyster refs inherited the pushers for a small timelapse.
This is the very first silver dial for a very early SS Oyster Daytona.
