Rolex

A rare bird, issued in small batches during certain years ( 1968/1969/1970/1973 and maybe one or two years more... ) This one is from II 1967, with a matching case number, 200 meters first, as it should be. A true character. With another 5513 MN 70 from 1...  

Very nice 5513 “marine nationale”, wasn’t aware that MN was buying such 5513 - remember seeing the Tudor snowflake for the “marine nationale” but never these. Thanks for sharing these beauties!

I'm quite intrigued by the rather whitish markers on the dial. I'm seriously looking for something like that for my 5513.

For years... some people/collectors have argued, using various arguments that I personally find questionable, that there had never been a Rolex 5513 in the French Navy... and even less so in Brest... before concluding that they were fakes made by a Parisi...  

There’s something so special about vintage subs. The design language here is so pure.
