Picked this up today
This is the last run of the 16570 series before the updated Explorer 2 was launched in 2011 with 42mm and orange GMT hand. Could be considered a “transition model” as only the 2009-2011 model years featured an updated movement and no spring bar holes on the side of the lugs.
With all the losses made last week, I consider this parking my money where it will hold value.
Who knows, maybe all our watches can serve us if ever cash becomes worthless and we need to barter!
