Absolutely brilliant post and GTG, and words are insufficient to describe it.
I had to dip in and out of the posts several times to avoid getting ‘numb’. I have the same reaction when walking around galleries such as the Louvre, Hermitage and Rijksmuseum – it’s almost too much to take in.
Amongst all of these Rolex treasures I am intrigued to know which ones people chose to actually wear on their wrists and why. Many stories amongst those collections I guess.

What a weekend, thanks a lot to our great hosts, Philipp and Bernhard!! I was so engrossed in the watches I only took a few pictures... A relaxed sunny Saturday afternoon Even Bulli was too wrapped up in the moment to notice the hot air balloon blowing up...

Inote it is a S/S 8171 with OCC on the dial. I thought this was discussed previously and found to be in correct. was this at all discussed at the weekend Julian
