New releases question
Apr 19, 2021,08:39 AM
Hello all,
Excuse me if this has already been addressed recently, but I was hoping someone would clarify for me the following: per online posts of new releases AND the Rolex site, I see they have the Pepsi and Batman (i’m using these monikers for typing ease) now newly available in steel on oyster bracelet...but didn’t Rolex discontinue the Batman steel on oyster in 2019 when they brought it out on jubilee? Are they basically reintroducing a model they recently discontinued?? Am i missing something in all this? (i must be).
Thank you very much.

They discontinued the Batman, but basically they are just giving you the new bracelet options for the new model (Batgirl or Pepsi BLRO) - the biggest change being the movement inside. So the Batman is back basically...

The Rolex 126710 Batman or batgirl with the jubilee bracelet has the 3285 movement with a 70 hour power reserve.
Thank you all very much for explaining.

So it is indeed back, but with updated movement. They didn’t make a lot of fanfare about the return...the return of Batman 🤭
