New dial for DD40
So after 6 months of ownership I switched from the (originally built-in) baguette diamond dial to the more blueish and now discontinued four sector dial which I purchased together with the watch from my AD.
Now it looks much more sporty than with the baguette dial. The ice blue is stronger and darker compared to the baguette diamond dial and the roman indices support this a lot. With this autumn and winter light in Europe now I think it suits the watch better as the baguette dial became a bit dull. But overall I guess I prefer the baguette dial, but time will tell.

yes, I was able to purchase a second dial with the watch
always fact when your original dial has some kind of diamonds set into it. thus you don't have to turn it in when flipping the dial and 1:1
It’s great to have both; as it’s a tough choice.
I’ve seen the sector several times and I was never so sure about it; but your pictures here make me think again. That said, my vote is for the diamonds !

but a good friend had this version already so it is more fun to have different styles when we meet 3:3 now
I like that current dial
In my opinion with that dial the watch goes better together with casual clothing. The baguette dial is more dressy and maybe not for daily wearing.

It doesn't look like the same watch! What a difference the dial makes.
Both look super. But if I had to choose just 1 (and didn't have the other to switch), I would go for the diamonds. It has that "DD look" that I am used to and love. (p.s. I am right now having trouble deciding which dial I would like for my own.)

I find the Roman numeral dial more compelling.
Diamonds are nice but less to my taste preferences. Maybe I’m too Old School but I would more associate them with feminine timepieces.

I (usually) don’t like baguette dials for men as I associate them to women’s watch. But on a DD and specially with the ice blue dial I have to say that I find it strong and powerful but also classy without being ostentatious or show off. On the other hand...
