Never a bad time to post a Daytona picture, right? And a question for current owners of YG/WG/RG Daytonas.

There's lots of love for the 16520 here, and many owners of both the black and white dials.

I mentioned on the thread about the current YG and WG Daytona references that I was thinking of adding some iteration of gold Daytona to the mix at some point (in addition to thinking about lots of other potential acquisitions too and so probabilities of buying when I make statements like this are always closer to 0 than 1).

For those of you who may own both a 5 digit like my 16520 and a watch with a case like the current YG/WG/RG non ceramic Daytonas how do you think they compare on the wrist.  And for anyone with a current oysterflex gold Daytona I'd be interested to know your thoughts too.

Thanks!

In my opinion, the best Daytona is the 16520. I said it many times but for me, it is the best of both vintage and modern words.

Here is mine. The 116500 ( Ceramic bezel ) comes after, in my opinion, once again. Best, Nicolas ...

Wow that’s a beauty Nico 👌🏼 Especially with the papers 😍

I had the same a was so stupid for letting it go around 3 years ago. Same dial with an inverted 6 Sometimes you make mistakes that can’t be forgiven.

Just so you know; you (and your pictures) are 100% responsible for my new found appreciation / desire for the white dial 16520.

It's something I've thought about too. It would obviously be a nice complement to my black dial.

I have a ceramic black dial one. One of my close relative has a RG and I do like it. I like the feeling and the weight of gold

I owned the 116520 black dial until fairly recently. I just bought a 116500 white dial. Here’s what I’d say about my very subjective comparisons. I prefer the ceramic bezel to the metal one for white dial Daytonas, both because the black perimeter present...
