Continuing with the Gold theme, but moving from the more unusual Honey Gold to White Gold. The Lange and this Day Date are very different watches both in terms of the metals and of course the design and wrist presence.
I do feel more and more as the years go by that for me the Day Date is replacing the Daytona are the real aspirational Rolex. I would at this point see myself more likely to buy a Day Date than a Daytona; this would not have been the case ten years ago.
And the prior day’s (non Rolex) honey gold choice for reference. A honey gold Day Date would be interesting!

Sunday the Sixteenth is not as good looking as your blue dial. That blue has a nice vintage charm to it.
Yes, the blue definitely has more charm to it.
That white is quite stark. And the Roman numerals are too prominent, which for a person who doesn’t really like Roman numerals on dials that’s a definite factor.
I’ve never seen another either.

Maybe I'm getting old but the cyclops is kinda nice, the day complication is actually useful, and diamonds are my new favorite thing. I prefer a 40/41 but all the fun dials are in the 36s....
