The 42MM for some reason wears to big on my wrist for my liking even though have and have had a couple of 42mm's.. I need to weight for grey market prices to come down to get one of the 40MM versions. -D-
Thanks dkaleal!

Yes, I like 40mm and 42mm versions. Both fantastic. The 42 has a bit more wrist presence I think but the 40 had a certain discreetness I really enjoy.
Same trouble here

It was especially frustrating because I really like the style changes on the new one--the orange hand is great. And the overall vibe is a little more contemporary outdoorsy, as befits a watch called 'Explorer.' I really like it! But the 42mm, as you say, ...
Congratulations

The first Rolex is always a special one, and the polar dial looks great.
Congratulations, Dylan!

That is a winner and a stunner of a watch anyway you look at it! Congrats, Alex
Magnifique!

I keep reading itβs a bit of a scratch magnet. Yours looks pretty pristine. Have you noticed it scratch easily?
Interesting question..
By: Echi : February 8th, 2022-09:25
Not really. It has a hairline scratch across the bezel at 2, i think. Itβs a 17 year old watch going on 18 so that;s not so bad. I wore it a lot during its earlier years. Not to worry about hairline scratches. Rolex steel sports wear scratches quite well....
Thanks Echi

I agree, itβs a tool watch after all. A few scratches add character π
Congratulations!

NOTHING will beat the feeling of your first Rolex. I've had lots of watches since, but that first Rolex? Life event! Great choice! Again, congratulations!
