Lifetime Collection...
...which i can probably try to wear each watch that i have for at least a month before changing to the next one to ensure sufficient wrist time. thanks for your insight Kari. i also admire those like yourself or even your dad whom have worn your watches for 20 years straight as a daily wear and here we are not staying loyal enough to follow that and we continue buying watches, i guess the kind of wants and needs are different then and now... my grandad stuck to his Datejust for 25 years before passing away and my dad is wearing my late grandpa's watch now.. close to 30 years without having it serviced or repaired...amazing!
has anyone of us ever wondered what will happen to our own collection of watches the day we leave this earth? I dont mean to sound like I am dying tomorrow but hey, life is short and tomorrow is a gift. We may collect 20 or even 50 to a 100 watches in our lifetime but what will happen to that collection of watches which may be worth thousands to millions? i thought about it and probably to be inherited by our children or friends.. or maybe charity can be an option. or maybe auction.. but then again, when we leave this universe..money or material things do not matter anymore. just my rambling... enjoy while we can and what we have...

keith

I will at least leave some of the most important watches to my kids with instructions that the same should go to their children. In our legal system that is possible to leave something to the kids in such a way that they do not have the right to sell the ...
