Just a comment in general..
I prefer solid case backs for Rolex. You can polish that movement all you want but it still looks meh to me. It’s not like it has a nice double barrel movement like a duometre or an interesting detail like the devils tail on a Minerva movement.
By giving in to some perceived general preference for see through case backs, I think it diminished its appeal a bit as a brand who is known to march to its own tune.

A dream crusher for Daytona maybe? For the price you could get an original vintage piece but does the hype pricing then cast doubt as to whether that worn vintage piece is worth that amount too? Does this just cast shade on the whole Daytona market?
I think it is super cool but this is absurdity on absurdity, a $15k steel watch made into a $45k gold watch made into a $55k watch with a slower hour counter, made into a $300k watch by cutting production. This is Rolexes Tiffany Blue 5711.

On the flip side....
I can easily see how someone might make fun of me for thinking how spending $300K on a Reverso is reasonable enough, but the point is that's what I view as peak horology as opposed to flashy jewelry........
