I recently got a Rolex from my grand father and can’t figure out if it’s fake or not.
I recently got a Rolex from my grandfather who picked it up at a thrift store a couple years ago. It’s a Yacht-Master. All signs point to it being real but there is no serial number anywhere to be found.
There is a crown laser etched into the glass, the hand second hand movement is smooth and the cyclops lens magnification seems to be right.
It has a replaced band from another Rolex 16620 is what is on the band.
My thoughts are that it was stolen and then later wound up at the thrift store.
He was told that it was real by own jeweller and told by another it was a really good fake.
