This seems to the bystander like a crazy decision. The OP 39 must have been one of the most asked for watches outside of Sub/GMT/Daytona.
I will say, I do like some of the new dial colours in the OP line.
For sure Rolex know what they are doing; I have more faith in them knowing than any other manufacture.
But anecdotally, you ask an AD and I’m certain they’ll say the OP39 was one of the best sellers. For me, I don’t care. I actually prefer the OP36. And now I have a choice of a whole host of throwback Stella like coloured dials.
