This seems to the bystander like a crazy decision. The OP 39 must have been one of the most asked for watches outside of Sub/GMT/Daytona.
I will say, I do like some of the new dial colours in the OP line.
I wud have said the same that highest demand is in 38-40mm segment. Apparently not when the almighty Sub is going bigger and..
..39mm DJ is being dropped.
For sure Rolex know what they are doing; I have more faith in them knowing than any other manufacture.
But anecdotally, you ask an AD and I’m certain they’ll say the OP39 was one of the best sellers.
