The "report" is inaccurate.
I have seen many of these so-called LGF dials on 14060M models after the 2007/2008 model years (Z-serial), including M, G...etc. I don't know who came up with the idea that they were only available during the first model year.
I don't know how you can possibly stick by it.
There are even full set random serial 14060Ms out there with the LGF dial. The following is just one example: www.sdwatches.com And this is not unique. I have seen M, G, random, just about every serial of 14060M with the LGF dial. Not rare at all....
Put simply...you are wrong
I have never suggested that it is unique. What I have said is that 14060M with the LGF dial is rare and was almost certainly produced in the very first year or transition in 2007/8. Occasionally one will see one dated on the papers at 2009 and even 2010.....
How about one dated 2012?
A random serial 14060M is so far removed from 2008/2009. And these 14060M sold pretty well and fast. How could a random serial possibly have LGF if your thesis is correct?

What you have on this forum are a number of people who have done exactly the same research that I have and they have found exactly the same results that I have. The vast majority of LGF 14060M come in a 2007/8 period.....ones that were not sold at AD can ...

The rarity is when you have a 14060M with a long F. A 14060 with a long F is NOT rare. Can you check what your dealer has...14060 or 14060M
It is a buyers market: 14060M with a long F.
Baron is right. Here and there a 14060M is dated 2009 but that can only mean, it was sold 2009. Majority are from 2008, from my observations of this market. At times less than 5% of all 14060M with b&p are long F.

I was quite some time looking for an LGF and still observing various market places and vendors. I can only repeat: yes, on and off an offering is outside the the production dates mentioned in Baron's post but vast mayority of this "rare" dial is from 2007...
Finally, this is a statement I can agree with.
And the key point to emphasize is, this has nothing to do with "when" a watch was sold. A serial number indicates when Rolex made it, not when it was sold!

Calling a Kermit LGF or calling 16610M LGF? Do you find sense in calling LGF meaning long f watches that by default and not as oddity has long f on dial? Cheers D
You tried on what sample size?
Long f is rare in 14060M Long f is not rare with Kermit also...again ....that watch has nick name it's Kermit due to Lunette verte....14060M rare long f version didn't have nick name hence LGF nick...hope this helps D
