I am not sure I agree at all....
Tudor comes from Rolex. Its heritage was intrinsically linked to Rolex. It is a younger brother relationship. Omega and Breguet are entirely different makes...totally different. Rolex and Tudor are extremely closely linked. It makes absolute sense to include Tudor and Rolex together.
Lets imagine this was a Porsche forum. Would you consider the 924 as a part of the forum for discussion? Like the Tudor, the 924 was at the lowest price range for its genre. Like the Tudor, the 924 used parts that were not from the manufacturer. The 924 used an Audi engine. The Tudor used the ETA. Yet the 924 was, intrinsically a Porsche. The Tudor is not a Rolex, but it is a very close relative....founded by the same man. OK, Tudor was founded in 1946, so many years after Rolex, but still the same heritage.
ps Nicolas....did you know why he called it Tudor? One argument I heard was to honour the Tudor period in English history....
