The Tudor Heritage Black Bay Black ref. 79220N was released on October 14th, 2015. During Baselworld 2016, March 17th, only five months later, Tudor discontinued all the Black Bay’s with ETA movements and present the 79230N, now with the in-house movement...  

Also note that the later in-house movement models do not have the Tudor rose. That makes it even more special in my opinion.

The new in house movement is a great thing for the Black Bay. I love that reference so much that I think I will have both, one with the ETA and another one with the in house movement. They really have a great watch with the BB, at Tudor. A pity they relea... 

Here is a pic of my Black Bay with ETA movement. Rare or not, I love this watch anyway ...

Do you know if the Tudor Heritage Black Bay 79220 R (Red bezel) has the same movement and dial as the 79220 N of which you posted a picture ? Thanks.

If a piece is posted for sale on line, it is quickly sold, usually within a day. I think the genie is out of the bottle. More and more collectors are looking for one.

i agree , i prefer it . more beatiful dial , more streamlined case , bracelet with wonderful design . why did they make fake rivets ?
